Kapur Takes Over Minghella Dictorial Duties



    After the tragic death of director Anthony Minghella, questions about his current projects have been asked. His current project is a segment of the urban ode film New York, I Love You. Minghella had written but not cast or set about shooting his segment of the film. Filming has been schedule to begin in the month of April in Manhattan City. It has been transpire today that Shekhar Kapur will take over Minghella directorial duties. Kapur has announced that before Minghella went into surgery, he was told by Minghella to finish and carry out his vision for the film. Kapur also had stated:

“He told me his film was about the value of life and how people sometimes just throw away their lives, unable to look beyond into the real beauty of it. I will direct the film now — with Anthony in my heart and in presence of his soul.”

As for the film itself, it has been described as a “love story.”
