Tom Cruise Impression From Superhero Movie

March 26, 2008

picture-11.png

To be honest, the only thing I found funny in the commercials for Superhero Movie was that guy acting like Tom Cruise. The actor’s name is Miles Fisher, and I must say that he does an excellent job at portraying Tom Cruise in the film Superhero Movie. He captures Tom’s facial expressions, completely nails his energetic laugh and other worldly gaze. I think it’s funny how these people won’t leave Tom Cruise alone, even though I think he brings it on himself a little. Whatever the case may be, it’s very funny and entertaining in my opinion. Poor Tom Cruise, he just can’t get a break. Well, I think he gets a break in this film, but not the kind of break he is looking for. Judging from what the commercials show, I think Tom learns a thing or two about earth. One of the things he learns about the planet earth, which he clearly is not from, is the law of gravity. Unfortunately, this part of the film is not on the clip that was posted. I guess we have to go see the film to see what happens to good old Tom. Watch the clip below for yourself, and feel free to write how you feel about this post or Tom Cruise, in the comment area. Thanks! CLICK MORE TO WATCH VIDEOS (more…)

Eddie Murphy’s New Mess

March 25, 2008

meetdave_teaser-poster.jpg

Meet Dave everyone, Eddie Murphy’s next big mess following up Norbit. Directed by Brian Robbins (Ready to Rumble, The Shaggy Dog, Norbit), Meet Dave stars Eddie Murphy as an alien spaceship in human form. Crews of 100 aliens are trying to save their planet, but encounter a new problem as their ship becomes attracted to an Earth woman (played by Elizabeth Banks). Sounds horrible… maybe Eddie Murphy will finally receive a Raspberry Award for worst movie and/or worst actor. View at your own risk on Yahoo.

Tropic Thunder Movie Trailer Storms The Web

March 18, 2008

Hey you comedy lovers, the Tropic Thunder movie trailer is finally here. I did not think much of this movie when I first heard of it but after watching the trailer I think it’s going to be pretty funny. It cracks me up looking at Robert Downey Jr. after he gets his surgery to look like a black guy. Ben Stiller will probably be very funny as usual. You really can’t go wrong with a Ben Stiller movie. Except for that Night At The Museum movie. I really despised that film. It seemed very pointless and rushed. I like Jack Black and most of his work, so he should also deliver a good performance. I think the actors will make each others performances better. When the trailer first starts, you could barely tell it’s a comedy because of the good CGI and serious look of the film. That is until it shows the actors in the movie. Looking forward to this movie.

‘Semi-Pro’ Air Balls at Box Office

March 1, 2008

Will Ferrell’s latest comedy was a complete failure on it’s opening day, Only bringing in 5 Million dollars. The opening day leads to an  estimated 14.3 million weekend. Before opening the film expected a 43 million weekend, looks like New Line needs some better “estimators”. The film’s income on opening day was just icing on the cake for New Line, just adding to the string of box office failures, and the studio becoming part of Warner Bros, and not being an independent company. Well let’s see if 14.3 million is over estimated as well.
